ABOUT US
What is Christianity? Is there still a reasonable justification for this faith? What is a Christian and how does he live in the 21st century? You are invited to hear the biblical answer to these and many other important questions in the worship service.
Not knowing what to expect is often unsettling. But this should not be an obstacle for you. You will find a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where everything will be explained. The Good News of Jesus Christ is for everyone and therefore all are welcome, regardless of background, circumstances, religious inclinations or worldview. We hope that by visiting us you will experience the hope, love and joy of a community of diverse people who love and follow Jesus Christ. After the service, there is always the opportunity to get to know us better over a cup of coffee.

In a time of great confusion and often ignorance towards biblical teachings, REG-VS professes the Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689. The goal of the authors was to think biblically alone and to express the meaning of the Holy Scriptures. The success of this enterprise is evidenced in the fact that no significant changes have been necessary for over 300 years.
The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith is an excellent summary of biblical truth.
The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith is an excellent summary of biblical truth.

Who is God? How do you know who or what God is and what God wants from us? Who can claim ultimate authority and make universal claims?
The 5 Solas of the Reformation, Sola Scriptura – Scripture alone, Sola Fide – By Faith alone, Solus Christus – In Christ alone, Sola Gratia – By Grace alone, Soli Deo Gloria – Glory to God alone, form the basis of our preaching and answer these and many other questions.

We believe in the biblical doctrines of the total depravity of man, unconditional election, effectual (limited) atonement in Jesus Christ, overcoming (irresistible) grace, and the preservation of the saints, known as the 5 points of Calvinism (TULIP).
These doctrinal statements derive from the biblical principle that “salvation is of the Lord” (Jonah 2:10) and declare that God is sovereign in the salvation of individuals and that glory is due to Him alone.
